The villa is a delightful semi-detached cottage sitting high on the hillside overlooking the Firth of Clyde, with stunning panoramic views westwards towards the isles of Arran, Cumbrae and Bute. Situated just outside the village this self catering accommodation is located on a working farm. It forms part of a courtyard, yet has privacy from the rest of the farm steading. All the rooms within The Villa have the most fantastic views out to sea and the islands beyond. The hillside location makes an ideal spot for watching all manner of boats on the Clyde from navy vessels including submarines to cruise ships. A five minute stroll will take you down to the sea front. Within the village of Skelmorlie there is access to an 18 hole golf course, trout fishing, shops, a pub, cafe, parks etc.
Recently renovated the interior fresh modern taking in evidence of it's past with the old stone fireplaces still visible today. Upstairs there are two good sized twin bedrooms, (both have zip and link beds which can also be made up as superking beds on request), wall-mounted TV with Freeview and iPod docking station. The Villa sleeps four, but has space for a divan bed and can accommodate five by request. Upstairs bathroom has bath and shower and w.c..There is also a good sized storage area available.
Downstairs the entrance opens straight into a lounge dining area and then leads off into the gallery style kitchen. TV, DVD, Freeview, iPod docking station all available and dining table and chairs. The property is centrally heated by gas. The kithcen has gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Utility/cloakroom has w.c., wash hand basin, washing machine and tumble drier.
There is offroad parking for 2 cars. Front door opens on to the private road - take care. Cot, highchair and stairgate provided.
